Due to an ever-increasing demand for our service, we would be interested to hear from anyone who could offer a loving home-from-home. You must be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of dog care, have somewhere warm and cosy for pets to sleep, continue home life routines for exercising and feeding, have a safe garden, and be at home during the day.
We meet all of our applicants at home, where an initial interview and home inspection are carried out. At this time you will be asked straight forward questions about your dog care experience and personal situation, and then together we will discuss the type of dogs you would be able to look after and your availability.
Becoming a part of the Doolittles team is rewarding and great fun from the onset. For many people working as a host has quite literally changed their lives. Caring for a dog at home gives you a real focus. Dog walking is incredibly sociable, and keeps you fit.
When we have a dog that we feel would be best suited to you, we always notify you in advance of the arrival date and time, the departure date and time, the type of pet and their care requirements. All food, treats, toys and routine schedules are supplied. Pets are delivered directly to your home and will be collected at the end of their stay. We keep in touch with you throughout this period, and you are of course able to contact Doolittles at anytime.
